How to prove the ownership of goods engaged in international trade? How to safely transfer the delivery rights from the shipper to the actual consignee? This process requires a well documented exchange of orders to be implemented.

Exchange of documents: In practical operation, the customs broker refers to the work of submitting the original documents related to the transfer of cargo rights to the shipping company, settling the payable expenses of the shipping company/airline, and obtaining the bill of lading. Exchange documents: Original documents proving the ownership of the goods, determined by the method of release.

4.0 Detention and Solutions

4.1 First leg fees not fully remitted/paid but not sent by email/First leg shipping company missed checking and releasing goods (shipping company)

It takes about half a day for the company to receive the water bill and release the goods

Solution: Find the shipping order email and contact the shipping company via phone/email to expedite the release of goods

4.2 incurring demurrage fees

Solution: Estimate the delivery time and contact Toucheng Shipping Company via email, requesting Toucheng Shipping Company to agree first

Let the Second Cheng Company collect on behalf of you, which is equivalent to the demurrage fee deposit. Please release the goods first and then pay the actual demurrage fee. Different shipping companies like Toucheng

Please pay the demurrage fee as soon as possible and contact the shipping company to release the goods and pick them up promptly.

4.3 Incorrect/omitted endorsement on the first leg bill of lading

Solution: The consignee can communicate with the first leg company via email and release the goods for exchange with three original first leg bills of lading

4.4 Transfer of Rights of Default and Exchange of Documents

Solution: The second leg consignee contacts the first leg consignee and requests the first leg consignee to send an email to notify the first leg shipping company

Release the goods to the consignee of the second leg with a scanned copy of the transfer of ownership certificate, and then notify the second leg by email if the first leg shipping company agrees

The shipping company releases the goods to the second leg consignee
