1. All goods containing magnetic, liquid, paste, powder, particulate matter, drugs, chemical products, etc. must provide an analysis and testing report issued by a third-party testing agency recognized by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (the identification results must meet the requirements of air transportation) before they can be accepted. Only goods that are not classified as dangerous goods can be stored. The appraisal certificate for the transportation conditions of goods shall be valid for one natural year and the original copy shall be provided. It is best to provide a small package of samples for security personnel to inspect and minimize the need for unpacking and inspection of goods.

The English product name in the inspection report=English product name on the outer packaging of the goods=English product name on the consignment note. The English product names of these three samples must be consistent.

2. Goods containing lithium batteries must provide:

Appraisal Report on Freight Transport Conditions, UN38.3 Appraisal Report, 1.2-meter Drop Test Report, and Shipper's Declaration; The drop report depends on the packaging of the battery, and specific inquiries can be made by phone. Ordinary dry batteries must be individually insulated and packaged. The battery model carried by the goods must be consistent with the identification. Security checks usually open the box to check if the model matches. The outer box of the goods must be labeled with the battery model, and the outer packaging of the goods needs to be wrapped with film. The documents are shown in the following two attachments (it is recommended to open them on a computer).

3. Currently, the warehousing of lithium battery goods has adopted a filing mode; All goods entering the BGS warehouse are only subject to Beijing appraisal (DGM or Sinotrans), and must be opened for inspection when passing security checks. In addition to being appraised in Beijing, the cargo entering the national hangar can also be appraised by the Shanghai Institute of Chemical Technology without the need for unpacking

4. Dangerous goods and fresh goods must also be called in advance to confirm whether they can be received and operated.

5. The maximum load-bearing capacity of the security check machine is 2000KG, and the maximum size of the security check machine is 1.7 meters high and 1.4 meters wide. If it exceeds this range, it needs to be stored for 24 hours. (Before entering the warehouse, manual inspection is required by opening the box)

6. All goods must provide detailed and specific Chinese product names when entering the warehouse, and generic product names cannot be used. It is strictly prohibited to carry dangerous or prohibited goods. Once detected, an alarm will be issued to detain the goods, and security checks will be blacklisted to increase inspection efforts.

2. UN 38.3 Test report requirements:

1) Version of UN 38.3 file

2) Battery manufacturer and model

3) The condition of the batteries used in the experiment (battery status, number of blocks, voltage before and after each battery test, quality, quantity)

4) Test items and processes

5) Experimental results

6) Conclusion of the test report, tester, approver, approving unit (stamped with official seal), approval date

3. 1.2 meter drop test report for packaging (not required for equipment installed)

4. Packaging instructions for goods:

1) When transporting batteries separately, indicate the gross weight of each packaging (lithium-ion batteries ≤ 10Kg, lithium-metal batteries ≤ 2.5Kg)

2) Number of built-in battery blocks (if packaged together with the device, the number of batteries used by the device and the total number of built-in batteries must be specified)

5. Non recall/non scrap recycling guarantee for lithium batteries.

The following 6-9 items are prepared and provided as random documents by the shipper or agent, and do not need to be submitted to the appraisal agency

6. Packaging label: Each packaging of general and hazardous goods needs to be labeled with a newly added lithium battery operation label (installed in the equipment, if it does not exceed 4 cells or 2 batteries, no label needs to be pasted)

7. Accompanying documents: The accompanying documents must include the following information

1) This package contains lithium-ion batteries (lithium-ion battery packs) or lithium-metal batteries (lithium-metal battery packs)

2) This packaging must be handled with care, as there is a risk of fire if it is damaged

3) If the packaging is damaged, the degree of packaging damage must be inspected. If there is severe damage, the packaging must be replaced

4) Emergency phone number

8. For lithium metal batteries transported by passenger planes, they need to be packaged in metal intermediate or outer layers, and the cushioning material needs to be non combustible and insulated.

9. When the checked lithium-ion batteries are non restricted goods, they must be indicated in the "Nature and Quantity of Goods" column of the air waybill as "Lithium ion batteries", "not restricted", and "PI 965" or "PI 966" or "PI 967"; When the lithium metal batteries being shipped are non restricted goods, they must be indicated in the "Nature and Quantity of Goods" column of the air waybill as "Lithium metal batteries", "not restricted", and "PI 968" or "PI 969" or "PI 970".
